Botanica & WWF Australia – Together for Nature Regeneration

When Botanica set out to create fragrances inspired by earth’s finest scents, nature provided. So, with our natural environment more fragile than ever, put under constant strain by threats like deforestation and climate change, the least we can do is give back.

That’s why Botanica and WWF have partnered for the next 3 years to help protect Australia’s unique biodiversity. Together, Botanica will help support WWF’s Regenerate Nature by 2030 goal, contributing to WWF’s work on Country with WWF’s vision to help transform Australia from a deforestation to a reforestation nation that, along with communities, helps protect and regenerate landscapes and in turn, support the species that call these landscapes home.

As part of WWF’s goal to Regenerate Country by 2030, WWF is working to:

Restore 100,000 hectares – restoring landscapes that have been degraded or lost through bushfires or logging
Protect 1M forest hectares - protecting existing trees and forest habitat from the threat of logging and deforestation

Over the next three years Botanica is committing to raise $600,000 to go to WWF to help support their regenerate nature activities that work to support our vital native landscapes*

Increasing and connecting native vegetation

Increasing and connecting native vegetation through on ground high biodiversity plantings and land management approaches that assist in habitat creation, connectivity, restoration and regeneration.

Supporting restoration of areas under Indigenous management

This includes using cultural knowledge and authority to guide the recovery for First-Nations priority species and Indigenous land management and cultural restoration including cultural burns, plantings, ongoing land management and habitat restoration.

Awareness and Advocacy

Supporting awareness and advocacy campaigns, workshops and training activities delivered to driving reach and engagement to support ongoing regeneration works and progress around land regeneration and increased protection for nature.
